AWAGO mobile service units go to collectives in   Kampala (Central Region), Iganga (Eastern Region), Isingiro (Western Region), and Arua (Northern Region).

Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We seek out organizations, leaders, and communities aligned with our mission, finding innovative ways to work together. By building strong, trust-based relationships, we create synergies that amplify our impact and drive sustainable solutions.

The challenges we address are complex, and no single organization can solve them alone. That’s why we prioritize strategic partnerships—working with those who share our vision and leveraging collective strengths to drive meaningful change.

Building Strategic Partnerships

AWAGO+ actively invites like-minded individuals, private, NGOs and organizations to drive meaningful change together. By forging strong alliances, we tackle complex issues with greater impact than any one entity could achieve alone.

Maximizing Funding Impact

Through collaborative funding efforts, we pool resources to amplify financial support for high-impact initiatives. By leveraging partnerships, we stretch every dollar further and open doors for new donors seeking effective giving opportunities.

Broadening Our Influence

We identify and support partners pursuing shared goals through diverse, complementary strategies. By investing in people and institutions with aligned missions, we accelerate progress and create lasting change.

Strengthening women and girls

Reaching women and girls within their established collectives—such as schools, Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), healthcare centers, and  women’s groups— significantly enhances the accessibility and effectiveness of mental health support services. These platforms serve as trusted environments where women naturally gather, facilitating the integration of mental wellness programs.

Accessibility

Integrating mental health services into existing collectives ensures that support is readily available within familiar settings, reducing barriers to access.

Community Support

These groups provide a sense of community and peer support, essential for fostering open discussions about mental health and reducing stigma.

Empowerment

By embedding mental wellness initiatives in these platforms, women are empowered to take control of their mental health, enhancing their overall well-being and resilience.
